Coiled basket beginnings

So here's what I'm working on with my handspun. It's a little farther along than this now, so I'll have to take some more pictures. This is my first go at a coiled basket. I saw someone making one at the Contemporary Handweavers of Texas conference and was totally smitten. I hope I have enough of the cording to make a nice shape, but I'm mostly winging it. I'm going for the shape on the right in general (from here).
