In my defense...

I was at the same time building a Firefox extension that would allow you to install a toolbar that searches my library's catalog.

I am officially 75 years old.

This is the sentence i just typed to my boyfriend (in response to him sending me plans for this evening):

"Remember, I'm meeting with the weaving guild library committee tonight."

No offense to other members of the library committee - none of whom are anywhere near 75.

Happy Birthday to Me!

It's my birthday! And I'm at a 3 hour session on Linux and Apache! How many geek points is that worth? I'm super excited. It's been a really great presentation so far. (We're on a break now.) After this Shawn and I are going out for Indian food at my favorite Indian restaurant, then off to Dragon's Lair for a new board or card game. I love you Shawn! (He is not at all a nerd or a geek, but he is a sweetheart.)

Birthdays are times for presents though right? So once again I will offer an item of your choice from my Etsy shop to a person chosen by the random number generator. Lurkers come out.
